What does the “Length limit” sign mean?
The “Length limit” sign belongs to the “Prohibition” family of the French highway code. Prohibitory signs are round with a red border. They forbid a manoeuvre or behaviour — excess speed, overtaking, parking, access — until the restriction is lifted.
