  • Your gaze commands the trajectory. Looking far ahead = stable trajectory.
  • On a straight road: look far, slightly right. Constant scanning: forward/right/forward/left/forward/mirror.
  • Field of vision narrows with speed: 180° at standstill, 30° at 130 km/h.
  • In a bend: slow down before, accelerate gently during, never brake in the curve.
  • Gaze in a bend: follow the kerb edge like a rail towards the exit of the curve.
  • Hands at 9:15 or 10:10. Prepare the higher hand on the side of the bend.
  • Drive on the right of your lane. If drifting left, look further ahead and more to the right.
  • Acceleration in a curve stabilises the vehicle by countering centrifugal force.
