- Continuous line: forbidden to cross or straddle (except to overtake a cyclist).
- Broken line: overtaking and changing direction permitted.
- Mixed line: look at your side. Broken = permitted, continuous = forbidden.
- Merge arrows: complete your overtaking before the 3rd arrow.
- Continuous edge line = stopping and parking forbidden on the hard shoulder.
- Bus lane: forbidden to drive in, except to cross it (broken line) giving way.
- Pedestrian crossing: priority to pedestrians, forbidden to stop on it or within 5 m before.
- Yellow road markings = temporary markings (roadworks) replacing white lines.
